Anna Rodriguez is the editorial aide for the Food section. She interned at District Magazine in Dublin, Ireland, and worked front of house at a farm-to-table restaurant in Minneapolis before joining The Washington Post in 2022. Anna also writes a biweekly newsletter about culture and connection in troubling times called Thanks, We Hate It. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and the London School of Economics, where her dissertation analyzed representations of Mexico in contemporary American food and travel television.
