The July 6 Local Living article “How to build the frog pond you didn’t know you needed” contained advice that I found rather perplexing: Potential frog-pond builders should ask their neighbors if they dislike the frogs' sounds.

Strangely enough, I’ve never been asked by any neighbors whether I minded the sound of their wind chimes, lawn mowers, leaf blowers or edging tools.

I guess as long as noise is not natural, it’s no problem?
