Pia Guerra is a 2023 Pulitzer Prize finalist for her editorial cartoon work. From 2002 to 2008, Pia co-created and illustrated “Y The Last Man” for DC Comics’ Vertigo line, which became a New York Times Bestseller and won multiple Eisner Awards, a Harvey Award, the Spike Award and Canada’s Joe Shuster Award. “Y” was later adapted into the GLAAD Media Award-nominated TV series of the same name for FX, on which Pia was an executive producer.
